Within this novel, Sensei Garan Dachau and Miss Morae Brody take the limelight. Meanwhile, Garan Dachau acknowledges the mistakes made in previous life choices. Miss Morae also has learned painful lessons as well. As a result, these two individuals are gaining new appreciation for ancient allies stepping forward in the time of necessity to battle ancient escaped foes that really didn't want to fight in the end.
