#1 I have been getting a lot of negative comments and messages, which is becoming too much to handle. I’m constantly screenshotting and saving the messages so I can view them later.

#2 I have a dream job that allows me to make creative work online about issues that are important to me. I spend my days grinding alongside others who are doing the same, and I can’t give up now.

#3 I loved theater work, and I was extremely successful at it. But I knew that good art did not need to be popular, and that audience size meant stability. I knew that I wanted to turn my creative work into a full-time job, but I didn’t know how.

#4 I was excited to meet with agents and representatives after the tours grew in length, but I was quickly reminded that I was not as experienced as the agents were signing who were friends of theirs. There were simply fewer roles for non-white people.
