#3 Your avatar should provide a picture of who you are, and it should support the narrative that you’re likable, trustworthy, and competent. It should not show your family, friends, dog, or car, because there isn’t room.

#4 The cover is a larger photo that you can use to tell a story and communicate information about what’s important to you. It is a place where you can blow your social media credibility by not changing the default design that platforms provide.
