Two Friends

Paris, January 1871. The city is starving under siege, and war has transformed ordinary life into a struggle for survival.

Morissot, a watchmaker, unexpectedly encounters his old fishing companion, Sauvage. Before the war, the two men spent peaceful Sundays together beside the river, often understanding one another without speaking.
