Bound by the Star-Devourer: A Cosmic Grumpy-Sunshine Romance

The penthouse across the hall has been dark for months. Lila Harper assumed her neighbor was just antisocial. Billionaires usually are.
Then she sees him come apart. Skin splitting open into something that isn't skin, galaxies dying under the surface, black tendrils reaching into the air of his living room. Kai Voss is not what she thought he was. Not even close.
He doesn't erase her the way his kind is supposed to. Instead he triggers something between them, a cosmic bond that names her his Anchor, the one mortal who can keep his form from unraveling entirely. So he does the next logical thing, from his perspective: he locks her in the penthouse and tells her it's for her protection.
Four other Void entities would hunt her down if they found out what she is. He's not wrong about the danger. That doesn't make the cage easier to live in.
Lila's never been good at dim and quiet. She pushes, asks questions, fills the cold apartment with noise. Kai watches her the way a storm watches a window. Intense, contained, barely. The bond pulls tighter every day, and the fear she started with gets harder to locate under everything else she's feeling.
His hunger isn't always monstrous. That's the part that undoes her.
The other entities are moving closer, and every hour the choice sharpens: walk away, or surrender to something vast enough to swallow galaxies.
Some doors, once opened, don't close again.

In a city of steel and shadows, an ancient hunger in a tailored suit finally finds the one woman he cannot let go.
New York's most powerful billionaires share one secret. They're not human. Not even close.
Ancient. Eldritch. From somewhere the maps don't cover. They've been here for centuries, moving through boardrooms and black-car motorcades, wearing tailored suits and occupying cold steel skyscrapers like they own everything - because they mostly do.
But time is catching up with them. Their physical forms are unraveling, slowly dissolving back toward the Void they came from. The only thing that can stop it: an Anchor. A woman whose soul burns bright enough to tether an entity to the earth.
There are five of them. And they've found their five.
Outside, the city hums its usual noise - taxi horns, rain slicking the pavement forty floors below. Inside these towers, something older and hungrier is taking over.
These aren't men learning to feel. They're not softening under the right woman's influence. They came into this world with one intention, and it wasn't love. It was possession. Total, consuming, non-negotiable.
What happens when immortal hunger collides with something it can't simply take?
