Bridges

Amir wants to meet a guy outside of a bar. Kinzi wants someone who won't cheat on him. Vico just wants a quick lay. In Gateway, when you need to meet someone, there's no-one better than sexy, flirty Hayward to get you just what you want--or at least have a good time trying. But when Hayward himself needs someone, who will be there to help? "Bridges" is a six-part narrative from five different points of view. The first three parts narrate the same evening from the point of view of each of the three characters involved: Amir, Fin, and Hayward. Part 3.5 follows Amir and Fin some months later, and parts 4 and 5 take place in the world of Hayward as seen by two of the people closest to him. "Bridges" won the Ursa Major Award for Short Fiction in 2010, and part 3.5, written the following year and included in this unabridged audio edition, won the Ursa Major Award for Short Fiction in 2011 for its characterization of a character struggling with depression. This book contains some steamy sex scenes, but also some real heart, showing the tentative steps taken toward relationships by characters afflicted with shyness, depression, or personal tragedy. This is the first in the award-winning line of "Cupcake" books, short fiction in furry worlds. A Furry novel in the Forester Universe. • Genre: Coffeeshop Fox
