Welcome to Seeking the Way at Cangwu.

This is a story about the Way — not the Way to immortality, but the Way rooted in the lives of ordinary people.

Shen Qingya, a boy from a remote mountain village, sets out from the ancient locust tree at the village entrance. He rebuilds the Cangwu Sect, which had been destroyed three thousand years ago, breaks the cultivation world’s law of “the strong devour the weak,” and helps ordinary people stand tall once more. He marches through the siege of a hundred thousand cultivators, through the snowstorms of the northern wilderness, through the final battle at Tianmo Mountain. He loses his teachers and his comrades — but he never stops walking.

This story has epic battles, tearful sacrifices, profound reflections, and the growth of a generation. But what moves the heart most are the ordinary people: the old farmer tilling his land, the slave in the mines, the wandering cultivator in the tavern. They are the true heroes of this tale.

The Way is not far from us. People themselves create the Way.
