Colin's First Adventure

Billy is a young boy who lives in a house in England. One day, he is given a computer-generated emu, which is invisible to everyone but certain members of his family. Billy has a cousin named Colin, a librarian who finds a magical phoenix bookmark that sees him drawn into the stories that he reads. This short story - Colin’s First Adventure - is taken from much-loved author Merv Lambert’s first collection featuring Billy and his friends: Beware of the Emu. Children will love Colin’s First Adventure, which is the perfect length for a bedtime story, or can simply be used to entertain at any time of the day. Look out for more of Merv’s wonderful tales, available as eBooks, audiobooks and in print.
