Astu lugude lõputusse maailma
One of the oldest known Ghost stories in the World is from Egypt and was written somewhere between 1189-1077 BC. The story tells about restless Ghost, whose tomb has deteriorated, and who overpriest Amun Khonsuemheb wants to prepare a new sepulcher, so that the spirit would not need to spend his nights out in the Land of the Dead anymore.
The original and still uncompleted story has been written in four potsherds (ostraka), that has been preserved in museums in Paris, Florence, Vienna, and Turin. Ostrakas were found between the years 1880-1905 in Egypt in the site of Deir el-Medina necropolis, which is located near Thebes. The beginning and end of the fragmented story are still unknown, and no one knows how the story begins or ends on this day, because not all the fragments of the story have been found.
This Autumn Fairytale Forest will publish an adaptation of the World's most ancient Ghost story, Khonsuemheb and the Ghost, that is based on the fragments of Paris, Florence, Vienna, and Turin.
