But little does Gigi know, her knowledge of love is only just beginning… At once charming and thoroughly entertaining, Gigi remains one of Colette's most-loved works to this day. Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (1873 – 1954), known as 'Colette', was a French author, journalist and actress. Famed for her vivid writing style, her literary works often explored desire, relationships and the natural world through a feminine lens. In 1948, she was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
