I didn't mean to fall in love with her; I swear I didn't. Mercy DeCorte was the good girl of the WNBA. With two rings, a thriving career, and an unblemished image, she didn't need someone like me in her corner, causing havoc. See me? I was the bad boy of the NBA, known to throw hands with anyone on and off the court. Associating with me would ruin Mercy's image. She knew that, but she didn't care. It wasn't long before the rumors started, and the haters showed themselves. I had to warn a few people that what we had wasn't about to be broken. They didn't listen, though, which was their mistake.
