Imagination in Motion

Tavon Quill’s doodles leap off the page when he uncovers an old slide projector under the school auditorium. As his sketched dancers swirl in silhouette to the steady tick of a battered metronome, he discovers that music and art can bring each other to life. Guided by Coach Elysura Nix, Tavon and his friends learn to draw fluid motion, count beats, paint backdrops, and fashion playful costumes—all from recycled scraps. Their midnight performance reveals the electrifying power of creativity, proving to young readers that when art, music, and movement unite, imagination truly comes alive on stage.
