Special Agent Nathaniel

Agent Nathaniel’s Aunt Connie, a retired police detective with a sassy attitude and a broken leg, brought him up to be principled, hardworking, and kind. All attributes that are often pushed to the limits as an undercover FBI agent working for the Minnesota governor’s office. His mandate is to join with ICE but be on the lookout for any law-breaking activities displayed by federal law enforcement in their city. When Connie sees a young girl brutally taken into custody by these untrained men in uniform, she insists that Nathaniel has to help that poor girl any way he can.

Known as a tracker by her clients, Bella Rose considers herself a private investigator—one who seeks out those who’ve gone missing. Because she was trained in Quantico but left the Bureau to go off on her own, she has abundant abilities that help in these investigations, and her successes escalate. When a beloved neighbor – the woman who takes care of Dirty Harry, her dead mother’s crazy, oversized grumpy cat – comes crying to her about the daughter of a friend who was picked up by ICE agents, Bella Rose finds herself agreeing to track the poor girl and bring her home.

When these two characters cross paths, sparks fly, chaos follows, and both are tested to their breaking points.
