#1 When Jimmy heard the judge pronounce his sentence, he felt like his life was being taken away. He was sentenced to one hundred and twenty months in prison. His father, who was a police officer, had rushed into a burning building to save people, and had been praised for his bravery.

#2 Big Jim was a police officer and fireman, and he had the magnetism that drew both men and women. He married one of those women, a raven-haired beauty named Lynn Brower, in 1963. But behind closed doors, his wife and father-in-law argued constantly about money.

#3 Jimmy was one of the few white students in a tough inner-city school, and he was always protected by his father’s reputation. He had many girlfriends by the time he was fifteen, and his athletic success in high school brought admiration from the boys.

#4 As high school students kept approaching Jimmy for drugs, he began to wonder if it would be such a bad thing to provide them. He began making money dealing drugs, and it became his life. He was making too much money and having too much fun to leave his drug operation behind, and it clicked into high gear once he hit the Windy City.
