#1 The Book of Job tells us that the angels were created prior to humanity and even the creation of Earth. We know with certainty that Satan and his fallen angels were watching the new race that would replace them in the heavenly ranks.

#2 Jesus Christ was created in the image of God. When the prophet Ezekiel saw a vision of God on his throne, he wrote that God’s appearance was like a man. Humans resemble Jesus Christ, as He was created in the image of God.

#3 The Garden of Eden was a place of elevation between God and humanity. It was the first temple between the two, and Adam was its priest. It was the portal between the heavenly and earthly realms.

#4 After the creation of man, God established the institution of marriage. Humans were not superior to angels, but they were given the earth. If humans could have a harmonious relationship with God and immortality, they could replace and supplant the rebel angels.
