Amir, 14, and his friends come to a summer camp for children and young people with particularly vulnerable backgrounds. These are very broken and need to be helped up mentally.

And together, with many children with absolutely wonderful backgrounds, these broken children go on somewhat insecure legs, their newly started steps forward in life.

At the summer camp, there is a fat boy, Viktor, ten years old, who is very traumatized. He has seen many times when his father has beaten his mother, and he is bullied both at school and at home in the yard.

His life cannot get much worse now.

Why he is fat is probably because he often has to comfort, and especially when he gets stressed and sad.

But then he meets Amir on the spot. Amir, who must be the world’s most popular and kindest boy.

Viktor could give anything to become friends with him.
