The denizens of Big Momma’s boarding house were shaken from their sleep by a shrill scream and ghastly news! A police officer came a-calling with questions about their housemate, Hannah Pickering, who had been found dead. But it wasn't Hannah's scream they heard - that was their kindly landlord being savagely attacked by fellow tenant, Father Grandfather. The elderly bible salesman was taken into custody for his assault; yet shockingly this lunatic appears to not have been the murderer. Now, as the sun rises over Arkham, light is cast on the sinister leavings of the cruel night. These five unlikely companions find themselves faced with a mystery and a benefactor that can make it worth their while to solve it.
