The Case of the Emperor's Spirit

An ancient emperor’s spirit – it wants to live forever in this modern world. A Half Immortal with Supernormal Power and her team need to stop it.

In Bama, a flying head has been killing men and sucking out their vital essence. Is this the work of a female ghoul? She and her semi-divine animal assistants – a shrewd, telepathic cat and a psychic talking parakeet – are recruited to stop the evil spirit. She is also assisted by a practical private investigator. In the course of her investigation, Kim has to interview a ghost. She needs to unseal the memory of the only witness of a spirit summoning ritual. She must also find the missing yang soul of the premier. And in a spy-vs-spy game, she finds out that things don’t always turn out as planned…
