Hiring my little sister’s best friend as the new nanny for my kids? Big mistake.

Isabel is fifteen years too young, too kind, and far too attractive for this to be anything but a problem. Nannying requires her to move in, living close enough to reach out and grab... Not that I would. I’m old enough to know better.

She’s a professional ballerina recovering from an injury, and I’m the CEO of a multibillion-dollar conglomerate. She needs a job. I need a nanny. It’s a simple win-win.

Wrong. It’s sheer torture. Coming home late to find her curled up on the couch. To see her smile at me and ask how my day was. She’s beautiful, and always around, and the thoughts I’m having soon turn inappropriate.

But that life is behind me. My wife died years ago, and I can’t handle another relationship. Can’t handle the complications, the feelings, or the inevitable pain.

Even if Isabel is a temptation too sweet to resist. Kissing her is addictive… and soon I can’t keep my hands to myself or stay on my side of the penthouse.

It’s easy to forget things like age gaps and fears in the heat of passion. But us together is a mistake… even if it quickly becomes my favorite one.
