The Time Machine

The Time Machine, first published in 1895, is H. G. Wells's landmark science fiction novella that introduced the concept of deliberate time travel using a mechanical device to the world. The story follows an unnamed inventor known simply as the Time Traveller, who builds a machine capable of transporting him through the fourth dimension — time.
