KENNETH GRAHAME [1849-1932[ was a British author, born in Edinburgh. After working for many years at the Bank of England, he began writing full-time, primarily children's books but also several children's book depictions for adults. The Wind in the Willows [1908] is Kenneth Grahame's most famous and beloved book, sold in over 85 million copies and translated into 29 languages.
