Meditation techniques vary, but all aim to achieve a state of mindfulness and stillness. The goal is to cultivate awareness of the present moment, helping individuals detach from the distractions and stresses of daily life. While meditation can be practiced independently, it is often integrated into a yoga practice, as the physical movement of yoga helps prepare the body for stillness in meditation.
