In the fall of the 1970s, deep in rural Kansas, six children waited each night for their mother to return home from work. One cold October evening, they heard her familiar voice call out from the driveway—soft, tired, and unmistakably hers. Four of the youngest ran outside to help carry in the groceries, but when they reached the end of the drive, the road was empty. Their mother was nowhere in sight. The air turned colder. The oldest, Clara, hurried them back inside and locked every door. They stayed awake until dawn, too afraid to speak. When their real mother finally arrived by taxi the next morning—having missed her usual bus—they realized the truth:

The Voice at the End of the Driveway

What was supposed to be a quiet three-day camping trip turned into a nightmare. Deep in the woods—along a stretch of river that doesn’t appear on most maps—a man began to hear faint footsteps near the water each night. Then came the whispers. It Whispered My Name

When a violent storm knocks out a remote lighthouse, a repairman is forced to spend the night inside its decaying walls. But as the fog thickens, strange shapes begin to move in the darkness—human-like, but wrong. Footprints lead to the door, objects shift on their own, and footsteps echo up the spiral stairs. Deep in the forest, a man stumbled upon an unmarked cave—its mouth hidden, waiting. As he ventured inside, a low murmur rose from the walls, growing louder with each step. “Where Is Caleb?”

It Followed Me Home...

A quiet tram stop. A porcelain-skinned woman. And a stare that felt like it cut through the soul.

A Smile That Makes Your Skin Crawl

A lifelong nurse always had the ability to sense spirits—but over the years, she learned to tune them out. That is, until one chilling night on the hospital’s graveyard shift...

While suctioning a patient’s airway, she spotted a ghostly figure in a hospital gown with long white hair standing at the foot of the bed. Over the next few days, the same apparition appeared—peeking through curtains, lingering in doorways—until the patient passed.

The Grim Reaper is Waiting...

Three friends went to a remote beach. One guy wandered off and suddenly heard a "hey" coming from the waves. Far out in the waves, a lone figure floated, unmoving. Thinking it was his friend, he paddled toward it—until the shape’s face came into view. It wasn’t his friend at all.

As he turned back, something icy gripped his ankle and dragged him under. A surfer saved him, but the image of that corpse-like face still lingers. Later, they learned the beach was closed… its waters known for taking lives...
