The path of the Moon and Sun are set: Tillion (the Moon) chases Arien (the Sun). Fearing further assault by Morgoth, the Valar make Valmar more difficult to reach, enchanting the sea to create obstacles for sailors, and raising up the Pelori mountains to sheer cliffs that cannot be climbed.
