'Do I Like It?' tries to flip the classical format of movie and music reviews with a passionate, 'fan-first' approach. We believe that in this age of the internet, no one is an authority on what is considered good art. We are just fans who are passionate about content. And 'Do I Like It?' is a fan telling another fan why they like or dislike a piece of content. No unnecessary high brow snobbery.

Prateek Lidhoo is a podcaster, rapper, music producer, screenwriter and an overall nerd about all audio visual content. His hobbies include analysing films frame-by-frame to extract the last ounce of subtext from them. With this podcast, he likes to maintain a fun, yet passionate lens with which he talks about movies and music.

Why do Modern Films Still Use Black and White?

Recently, filmmaker Vetrimaaran questioned the depiction of Raja Raja Cholan as a "Hindu king." It soon lead to a controversy with some sections, especially politicians and public figures close to the Bharatiya Janata Party, calling the emperor a Hindu. Others, including actor and politician Kamal Haasan, actor-politician Karunas, filmmaker-turned-politician Seeman, and Congress MP S Jothimani, called him a Shaivite Dravidian ruler.
