In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, we start with an Italian "thank you" to President Trump as former President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Antony Blinken both claimed some credit for President Donald Trump’s Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement on Monday. On X, Biden – who is undergoing treatment for cancer – said that he was "deeply grateful and relieved" that the Gaza war is approaching its end. The road to this deal was not easy," the Democrat wrote. "My Administration worked relentlessly to bring hostages home, get relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war." Actually it's only through military enforcement led by Donald Trump that got the job done. Also lots of audio accolades for President Trump's successful peace plan and staffers from CBS news division have until Tuesday to explain what they do during working hours to their new boss, editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, but the Writers Guild of America East, which represents some CBS News employees, has urged staffers not to respond until the network answers a series of questions.

By comparison it took the Biden administration four years to release that many. The Democrats are begrudgingly having to give President Trump full credit for bringing peace in the Middle East and the key to peace was Trump's ability to strip Hamas from their ability to fight.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is coordinating the handover, transporting several Israeli hostages from Gaza to Israeli custody, while Palestinian prisoners are set to be released in return. It started with the transfer of seven hostages and the President arriving to attend the historic event. Prseident Trump landed in Tel Aviv joining Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other dignitaries to greet hostages and their familes as phase one of the President's peace plan begins. Also President Trump addresses the Israeli Knesset as all 20 living hostages have been freed and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that the US will allow Qatar to build an Air Force facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, which will host Qatari F-15 fighter jets and pilots who will train alongside US troops,
