In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Federal prosecutors announced new indictments Thursday in the widening Minnesota fraud scandal, this time involving two Philadelphia-based men accused of traveling to Minneapolis after a friend told them the taxpayer-funded programs there presented "a good opportunity to make money." Anthony Waddell Jefferson and Lester Brown are accused of siphoning millions from federally funded programs administered by Minnesota officials that were meant to help people with disabilities and those suffering from addiction. 

Also a jury found Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan guilty of obstructing federal immigration agents during an attempt to serve a warrant at a courthouse earlier this year. She faces up to five years in prison on the felony obstruction count.

12-19-25 Part Two - Minnesota's Fraud Investigation

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, the guys begin by discussing the security detail protecting the rich and famous. From Elon Musk to the Hollywood elite, security is becoming crucial in today's violent society. Even security cameras in any environment have become critical after last weekend's series of multiple mass shootings.

In fact authorities have identified the suspect in Saturday's mass shooting at Brown University as the same man believed to have carried out the murder of a renowned nuclear scientist at MIT days later. Claudio Manuel Neves-Valente was found dead Thursday evening inside a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire. 

Inflation numbers are out, albeit most are speculation. Calculations from consumer spending affected by the President's tariffs are still being populated as the holiday season present shoppers with higher prices for most goods and services. 

Also the left goes bonkers as Maria Shriver slammed President Trump on Thursday after the Kennedy Center's board voted unanimously to rename the institution to the "Trump-Kennedy Center," accusing him of trying to attach his name to a memorial dedicated to her uncle, President John F. Kennedy. The band Cheap Trick defended the decision as they performed at the venue to honor their lifelong industry heroes KISS!

Ford said the next generation of the F150 will have a 700-mile range and improved heavy-duty towing. Also commentary on fossil fuels, climate change and green energy.

Also audio from the President on multiple promises from tax cuts for seniors to a balanced health care plan for all. An announcement from the FBI that Deputy Director Dan Bongino will step down in January, a warm Christmas forecast for Texas and changes with how you will watch The Oscars. The annual Academy Awards will be livestreamed on YouTube from 2029, the event’s organizers have announced, with the ABC network losing the rights to broadcast the illustrious movie awards ceremony for the first time in more than 50 years.

Also Australian officials say the Bondi Beach shooters carried bombs and ISIS flags and had recently traveled to the Philippines, confirming the attack that killed 15 was ISIS-inspired. President Trump's post on Truth Social regarding the tragic death of director Rob Reiner was disappointing and mis-guided. The President clearly not connecting the dots as he accused the late actor of suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome". Also a Rasmussen pollster challenges the President's remarks and promises that, according to him, remains undefined and unfulfilled.

12-15-25 Part Two - Life is Short

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele have died, according to LA Mayor Bass. Best known for his role as Meathead in "All in the Family" and for his directorial success with films including "Spinal Tap", "When Harry Met Sally..." and "The Princess Bride," Reiner has long resided in Brentwood, Los Angeles. He and his wife were 78 and 68, respectively. Details remain unconfirmed but sources say he and his wife were stabbed to death. Reiner's son Nick is a person of interest. 

Also multiple dead and several wounded after mass shooting at Brown University Saturday afternoon. Police in Providence, RI have released a person of interest. The gunman remains at large. And tragedy in Australia as 16 are dead, including the gunman, after a father-son duo opens fire on a Jewish community celebrating Hanukkah. Some 40 were injured in Australia's worse ever mass shooting on Bondi Beach in Sydney. And President Trump vows "massive retaliation" after a tragic shooting in Syria. The weekend ambush occurred in Palmyra when a lone Islamic State gunman targeted a group of Iowa Army National Guard soldiers. The attack killed two American soldiers, a U.S. civilian interpreter and wounded three additional U.S. soldiers. 

And sad news from our industry as former longtime talk radio host David Gold has died at age 75. Gold launched his career in the late 1970s in Denver. He would go on to work at WPLP-AM, Tampa before moving to KLIF, Dallas where he was on air from 1986 to 1997.
