#3 It is important to note that food additives, such as those found in breakfast cereals, chips, candy, and even children’s medicines, have been linked to hyperactivity. If you suspect your child may be affected, check the ingredients lists on the product packaging and speak to your pediatrician.

#4 The amount of sleep your child needs varies from child to child. Some kids need eight hours of sleep in a twenty-four-hour period, while others may need closer to twelve.
