Rise of the Mother is based on a true and raw account of a first time Mother as she rises to overcome internal battles whilst learning to embrace her Motherly instincts. This book will introduce you to another Mother’s journey as a “first- time-mum”, and details the strategies she used to overcome those battles through a series of workshops and meditations.

The importance of Motherhood is not to be underrated and nor is the benefits of working on yourself, when you are OK, your family is OK, Mother’s are, quite simply, the heartbeat of their family. So if you keep your “heart” healthy then all will be well in your families life.

Shona’s passion for breastfeeding saw her rise to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Mental Health Counsellor and Health Coach, she explains how the book came about, “Stress is the number one reason why breastfeeding doesn’t work out, and the number one solution for stress- is Meditation. So I created breastfeeding meditations, it just made sense to me.” These meditations are available to you with explanations on how and why to breastfeed, how and why parenting without being triggered by your past is important and how to rise every day, for the sake of your beautiful children.
