Not so long ago, Robbie Mason had it all. But then he went and broke his own teammate's jaw, and the best defenseman in the history of the NHL hit rock bottom, hard.

With her job on the line, New York City real estate agent Fran Keller needs a sale. When she receives a last-minute viewing request, Fran is prepared to do just about anything to secure a signed deal sheet. That is until she opens the door to Robbie Mason, her old high school nemesis.

Fran needs to sell a six-million-dollar apartment to keep her job. Robbie needs a place to live, and just so happens to have six-million bucks to spend.

It's the perfect plan. Robbie buys the apartment and, in exchange, Fran pretends to be his girlfriend. Because what better way to prove that he's cleaned up his act than by settling down with a nice, young career-driver woman?

And, besides, who better to fake a relationship with that someone you can't stand?
