The locked room is in the west wing, George has to discover why in his sleep he hears a baby crying, what is its connection to the Castle. Winter is a mythical old man who is his guide, when George finds Ballygobackwards he is entranced. More stories in the series cover different periods in the Castle’s life.

Winter has to escort someone to the other side, but they are resisting. It’s a large family, they die either in mysterious or tragic circumstances. Who survives, and why?

Ballygobackwards Castle is full of Irish revolutionaries. Michael is their leader, training them ready for the Easter uprising in Dublin. But first, he has to ensure as many as possible survive the Castle. Not easy with Winter always there, ready to escort to the other side. War games, poteen, all are hazards ready to kill the unwary, but the end is likely worse, Winter dogging their steps.

Michael's Rebellion - A paranormal short story

It’s 1798, and Ireland is in the middle of a rebellion. Ballygobackwards Castle is under siege, the defenders outnumber the English soldiers, but will the cannon on the Castle’s roof be decisive. The baby is crying in the locked room, men try to rescue it, do any survive? It’s Irish history brought to life.

Ballygobackwards Castle has more windows in the East Wing ground floor than on the upper. Why? There has to be a reason, with the awful smells coming through the walls. The 400 year old Castle has more secrets to reveal, George is asking the questions, Winter isn’t revealing - yet.
