I read this book last, after reading Beating the street and Learn to earn. This is his best book out of the 3. I would advise if you are a newbie, begin with Learn to earn or skip it and move to Beating the street and then One up on Wallstreet. This book is the most detailed out of the 3 on the ways he evaluates and choses stocks. First part prepares you to invest and discusses some general ideas about the market. The second part reviews in detail how to find winning companies, which ones to avoid and what routine to create in checking the chosen companies. The book ends with the 3rd part on how to design a portfolio, the best time to buy and sell and the 12 silliest things people say about stock prices. Maybe some of the information is old and not applicable overall but gives good strategy of what Lynch used. Also shares some missed opportunities and losses on companies he bought. Overall great read!
