A ONE-SENTENCE DESCRIPTION: Scientific explanations of the teachings of The Gītā and The Upanisads (Vedānta), ancient Indian scriptures, through teacher-student storytelling and Q&A, ultimately showing readers how to lead a purpose-filled, action-oriented life of fulfillment.
A BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The book exposes readers to the deep science, logic and simplicity embedded in the teachings of The Gītā and The Upanisads (Vedānta), ancient Indian philosophical treatises.
The most important learning for the reader is to show that the ancient Indian teachings in The Gītā and The Upanisads, if followed with discipline, will lead to a life filled with purpose, fulfillment and mental wellbeing. For this I present the MEDYK framework – Meditation, Exercise, Diet, Yoga and Karma Yoga, to be followed in that order, everyday.
Secondly, I introduce the deeply researched and validated concepts of The Upaniṣads by going into great depths and analyses of the aphorisms – I present here a novel way of bringing spirituality and science together in an audacious claim to blend them into a Spiritualistic Evolutionary Empirical Science, or SEES.
Lastly, the reader will learn how to apply this thinking to daily life through action with the right attitude (karma yoga). By developing Faith and Focus on these teachings, one will achieve a Fearlessness, Freedom and Fecundity of thought leading to a transformed way of living, and an unparalleled fulfillment of being.
