But as the Alaskan autumn yields itself to the encroaching threat of winter, Neil, Jerry, Meghan, and Emma must fight both legions of the undead and the bitterly unforgiving wilderness.

The horrors of Anchorage festering with prowling ghouls are behind them. But new terrors threaten every step on their arduous trek along the Seward Highway. As hopes dim and nightmares become dark realities, Neil and the others find strength in each other to live.

Through the terrifying new world of the undead, Neil Jordan has led a dwindling band of survivors from Anchorage along the Seward Highway, battling flesh-eating zombies and the deadly Alaskan winter. As the approach the small city of Whittier, they find the tunnel barred—potentially protecting it from the undead infection. 

The group’s flagging sense of hope is restored. Whittier could be the sanctuary they’ve longed for—if they can just find their way in. But their search turns increasingly desperate as they are pursued by deadly enemies both living and undead.

Resolution

Having learned to survive the zombie apocalypse in the wilderness of Alaska, a battle-weary cohort is called upon for help in this horror series finale.

A year into the undead apocalypse which has spread across North America and beyond, a group of survivors led by Neil Jordan are still alive against all the odds. Having escaped the horrors of Anchorage, they are still persisting on the Last Frontier, carving out a life for themselves far away from the legions of the dead. 

Now they’re asked to plunge back into the tempest following a distress call from Anchorage. Having finally established a refuge for themselves, Neil and the others must decide what sacrifice they are willing to make for complete strangers. Will they now return to the very place where they once waited for help in vain?
