I enjoyed the mortal engines saga more but this trilogy fills in some gaps and is a nice prequel. It has some reoccurring patterns (a traveling theatre and a traveling circus as a setting are a bit too similar when you listen through the books in quick succession) and the voice acting in the last part is at times overdone. But the accents are dead on.
