Gun Shy

Through the shadows Gordon saw the tall man, a head taller than anyone else on the street. Lamplight spilling from the store fronts made the gunslinger’s eyes bright yellow as they settled on him.

Gordon had thought about it over a hundred campfires. He had known it would happen sooner or later -- that he would be facing this man who was standing now in the center of the street. That he would reach for his gun and beat the fastest draw in the territory to the kill!
