Manusmriti Vol 2: In English rhyme

In ancient dawn, where dharma’s roots entwine,

The Manusmriti casts its sacred line—

A cosmic law through mortal voice revealed,

Where truth and order in the Atma are sealed.

From Brahman’s breath to earthly caste and creed,

It charts the path of thought, of word, of deed.

Not chains of fate, but mirrors of the mind,

Where karma’s justice flows, serene, refined.

The stages of the life it gently frames,

From student’s fire to hermit’s cooling flames.

It speaks of duty, love, restraint, and grace,

Of Atma’s journey through the time-bound space.

Yet not without its shadows, myths, and scars—

A text of stars, but also binding bars.

So read with heart, with wisdom’s tempered eye,

To lift the truths and let the falsehoods die.
