A paradigm is a standard, perspective or set of ideas. A paradigm is a way of looking at something. The word paradigm comes up a lot in the academic, scientific, and business worlds, a new paradigm in business could mean a new way of reaching customers and making money. To change your opinion of or attitude towards something. The shift may be permanent and not reversible.

Paradigm shifts in industry often happen when New Technology is introduced radically alters the production process or manufacturing of a good or service. These shifts are key drivers in many of the process that a society undergoes, such American Industrial Revolution or the information revolution since 2000s. A paradigm shift is a major change in how people think and get things done that upends and replaces a prior paradigm.
