#3 When you’re trying to convince yourself to do something, listen to the voice of outward me. She’s just trying to help you. But when you’re trying to convince yourself not to do something, listen to the voice of inward me. He’s sure that you should do it.

#4 People pleasing is when we say or do something that placates others in order to keep conflict at bay. It can be a result of our desire to be liked, or it may be a result of our desire to help others.
