"Layla, just sign the contract. Or are you looking forward to meeting someone else? I mean, that's pretty much what it means. While married to me, you can not date or see any other guy. Pretty simple!"

"Well, this goes for the two of us," I say, narrowing my eyebrows as I grip the paper over my shoulder.

"Layla, I have no intentions of seeing any other girl. No one interests me, and I'm too busy to date anyone else, believe me."

"Just. Sign. The Contract, Layla!"

My heart shattered the second I walked into that bar and saw my boyfriend of three years making out with who I thought was my best friend.
