In this book, “The Power and Purpose of Preaching in the Christian Faith”, I emphasize the vital role that preaching plays in the life of the Church and the spiritual development of believers. The book explores the significance of preaching as a divinely ordained means of communicating God’s Word to a congregation, emphasizing that it is not simply a human activity but a sacred act of proclamation.

It is argued that preaching is central to the growth of the Church and the individual believer, as it serves to nourish, convict, and inspire. This book also examines the theological foundations of preaching, asserting that it is through the preached Word that people encounter the power of the Holy Spirit.

It highlights the need for preaching to be both biblically faithful and culturally relevant, balancing the truths of Scripture with the contemporary context in which it is heard. The purpose of preaching, according to my perspective, is to bring people into a deeper relationship with God, shaping their understanding of the gospel and encouraging them to live out their faith in practical ways.
