ThrillingEveryone has a story and a secret in this one. But our main Holmes, Jess, never has a cent to spare. Finally, a British antihero whose main flaw is grinding poverty. With her two jumpers and dwindling roaming data, can Jess find her brother in a foreign land where she doesn’t even speak the language? It may not be entirely relatable, but I really admire a character with no visible means of support having to go hungry because she’s skint.
