This story reflects the Buddha's emphasis on spiritual guidance and the distinction between worldly logic and the path to enlightenment. Once, a monk asked the Buddha about his doubts but did not receive an answer. Instead, the Buddha simply smiled gently. The monk then said, 'If I cannot find an answer here, I will return to my worldly life.' Buddha replied, 'The existence of life is not based on debate. The answers to the questions arising in your mind will come over time, either through studying scriptures or with the guidance of a teacher. The path of reasoning is different, and the path to nirvana is different. It is my duty to teach the path to nirvana.
