内容简介： 《爱伦·坡诗选》以奎恩教授编注的《爱伦·坡集：诗歌与小说》（Poe: Petry and Tales）为底本，选取了爱伦·坡的数十首诗歌。本诗选由翻译家曹明伦翻译，译文十分优美、精良，是一本文学性、可读很强的书。 作者简介： 爱伦・坡于 1809 年 1 月 19 日出生在波士顿。他的父母都是演员，在他很年幼的时候父亲就抛弃了家庭，母亲也在他三岁时离世。之后他被弗吉尼亚州里士满的商人约翰・爱伦（John Allan）收养，因此他的名字中间有 "Allan"。爱伦・坡在文学评论方面也颇有建树。他强调作品的统一性和效果的单一性，认为文学作品应该有一个明确的目的，并且通过各种手段来达到这个目的。例如，他的诗歌理论注重通过韵律和节奏来营造氛围，这种观点对当时和后来的诗歌创作和评论都产生了一定的影响。
