What was life like before recorded history?

In Before Adam, Jack London takes readers on a fascinating journey into humanity's distant past through the dreams and memories of a modern man. As he experiences life as a prehistoric ancestor, he witnesses a world shaped by survival, instinct, and the harsh forces of nature.

Blending imaginative storytelling with early ideas of evolution, the novel explores the struggle for existence in a primitive world where danger is constant and only the strongest endure. London vividly portrays ancient landscapes, early human tribes, and the raw instincts that shaped mankind.

A unique work of historical fiction, Before Adam combines adventure, science, and imagination into a thought-provoking narrative about human origins.

"A powerful and imaginative journey into the dawn of humanity."
