Michael

Michael follows the journey of an individual born into privilege who begins to question the rigid expectations that come with inherited status. The opening introduces a figure living in London who feels out of place within the social circles that surround him, revealing a quiet conflict between outward duty and inner aspiration. His recent assistance to a relative underscores his inclination toward kindness, yet also highlights his discomfort with the performative elegance expected from his background. The narrative deepens as he steps away from a traditional path to pursue a creative calling, driven by a long-suppressed desire for artistic expression. This decision places him at odds with the values upheld by his family, creating a tension between personal fulfillment and long-standing obligations. As he anticipates the disapproval that will follow, the story sets the foundation for an exploration of ambition, authenticity, and the struggle to define one’s identity beyond inherited roles.
