Pod pritiskom je zbirka priča, mada se može posmatrati i kao fragmentarni roman. Knjiga je krvava, surova ali u isto vreme nežna i srceparajuća pošto je napisana s prve linije frona rata u Bosni 1992-1995. Faruk Šehić je i sam ratni veteran i pjesnik tako da su njegove priče potpuno proživljene te napisane s dokumentarističkim uvidom. One su istovremeno obogaćene izuzetnom ljepotom i blagošću.

It is bloody, brutal, and at the same time gentle and heart-wrenching since it has been written from the front line of the Bosnian war 1992-1995.
