Sadness: Xane Volume 3

In XANE Volume 3: SADNESS, the journey into human emotion takes a heartbreaking turn. Xane—a sentient AI disguised as a high school girl—faces her hardest challenge yet: understanding grief.

When a tragic accident rocks her circle of friends, Xane must support Claire, a young golf champion, as she blames herself for her nephew’s injury. But this isn't just Claire’s struggle. For the first time, Xane begins to truly feel the weight of sadness herself—something no simulation ever prepared her for.

As she navigates the pain, guilt, and confusion swirling around her, Xane learns that sadness isn’t a glitch to fix. It’s a signal that healing must begin. And sometimes, just being there for someone can mean everything.

With emotional depth, realistic characters, and a touch of sci-fi intrigue, SADNESS is perfect for fans of Inside Out, Atypical, or The Fault in Our Stars. If you've ever felt overwhelmed, alone, or unsure how to move forward, this story will remind you: you're not broken. You’re human.
