#2 The book you are holding was conceived on the banks of a blackwater tributary to the River Mazan, in the Amazon jungle. I had dropped out of Midpark High School in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, during the first week of my senior year, and set out for the Peruvian Amazon.

#3 The Bible is a highly integrated message system from an extraterrestrial source outside of time. When illuminated by the light of the Spirit, it projects a multidimensional portrait of its divine Author and communicates his plan to redeem, reconcile, and restore the sons and daughters of Adam to the glory of their original estate in the family of God.

#4 The beginning of our story marks the appearance of a new sentient species on earth, specifically designed to inhabit it. We are not alone in the cosmos, and our existence was not a random occurrence. We were born into the cosmos, not with it.
