Take your Italian to the next level with Coffee Break Italian Advanced. Join native speaker Francesca and teacher Mark as they guide you through the intricacies of the language. This podcast is aimed at learners working at B1/B2 level and we'll be covering grammatical structures and topics appropriate to this level. In each episode Mark and Francesca will discuss a language point, and then you'll listen to a dialogue which features examples of the language point, helping you consolidate what you've learned.

Coffee Break Italian Advanced

In this first episode of Coffee Break Italian Season 3, Francesca and Mark explain how Direct Object Pronouns work with simple verbs in the present tense. You'll hear an explanation of the grammar point, then listen to a dialogue in which John, a Scottish student of Italian, is in Siena to improve his language skills. He has a chat with his teacher of Italian about his language learning experience.

In this lesson, Coffee Break Italian hosts, Mark and Francesca, introduce the last remaining category of personal pronouns to be discussed in this series: disjunctive pronouns. CBI 3.09 | Disjunctive pronouns | Amicizia e musica

We have reached Lesson 10 of Coffee Break Italian Season 3! In this review lesson we look at all of the pronouns covered in Lessons 1 -9: subject pronouns, reflexive pronouns, direct and indirect object pronouns and combined pronouns. We also hear from Silvia, a young girl who has written a journal entry all about a boy in her class, Tommaso, whom she likes. Some interesting phrases to listen out for include una volta per tutte and avere una cotta per. Pronti?

In this episode of Coffee Break Italian Season 3 we are focusing on all of the possible ways to form a hypothetical clause (or 'if' clause) in Italian.
